The best way to make robotics more accessible is by creating STEM spaces. These are specially equipped places where anyone can implement their project or startup without the need to purchase expensive tools. One of the first such spaces in the future will be our own project, KYFR Space!
Regarding youth engagement in robotics, our goal is to hold events, workshops, and presentations on this topic. In total, we have organized more than 30 events over the years. For example, in 2020, we held an online camp for teams participating in the FIRST Tech Challenge, an international robotics competition, attended by over 400 participants from 9 different countries. We also organized a two-day STEM camp together with teams from Poland and America who came to Kyiv. The children were able to learn important aspects of robotics, programming, team strategy development, and branding.
